  Evaluating and Choosing Instructional Strategies to Differentiate for and Engage Diverse Students Readiness differentiation is aimed to provide support students need to succeed at a new level of challenge towards specified knowledge, understanding, and skills (Association for Supervision and Curriculum Development, 2011). I planned for student readiness in this lesson by making careful selections on the texts that were read since the texts were an integral part of this learning objective. By choosing a text that all students were familiar with during the representation portion of the lesson, it allowed the focus to be on the skill being taught rather than trying to focus on understanding the text.  Learning Styles Inventory Data Data Analysis Interconnection of Learning Styles and Development There is an interconnection between learning styles and cognitive, linguistic, social, emotional, and physical development because they are all domains of child development, and one often impacts other areas and highlights each area’s importance (National Association for the Education of Young Children, n.d.). Learning styles impact student learning, which in turn impact these developmental domains in different ways. For example, instructional approaches that lean towards the visual learning style can impact cognitive development, linguistic, social, and emotional development can be promoted through a more auditory learning style, and a kinesthetic learning style can impact physical development.      Differentiating instruction through technology platforms can be a strategic and purposeful way to meet students’ needs in the classroom. There are different areas in which lessons can incorporate such tools to support differentiation through the content, process, and product (Cypher Learning, 2020).
